Other user's comments on INVASiiON.

Me:
" You don't have to be scared guys, comments are welcome. Think of this like Super Mercenary's inspiring story; WAR.
Only, I'm writing it and right now there isn't anyone dying."

Super Mercenary:
"Sweet! A compliment!"

Me:
"WAR is definitely deserving of it, I love reading it!"

Big B's Llama: (Yes, that's his name.)
" Ok good, I read this twice and wanted to comment, but thought you would get mad.

P.S.
Super Merc, definitely worth it!"

Me, quoting Big B's Llama:
"Don't worry! I love constructive criticism!"

Big B:
" Oh well in that case...

*pulls out 200 page essay on all the things that are wrong with Invasion

"I've been waiting for a looong time to break this puppy out..."

Me:
"
Break it out then! Throw everything that you've got at it!

I'm more ready than you would think..."

WinterWolf, who is not on Blogger:
"
Lol! nice, very funny.. But you would have twice as many if you read my book..."

Big B:
" It would take hours to write everything, but I'll just write this.
x|o|x
x|o|o
x|x|o

How the heck did that get in there?
So what, I procrastinated! :D

ps
Winter has book?
please give me details!"

Me:
" Um, Wintr haz abowt fordi fiv bookz."

WinterWolf, with some bad Grammar:
" Oh be quiet! Yes I have a book, Unfortunatly my dad redid the computer so its lost."

Big B:
" oh, that's not good! You didn't keep it anywhere on the e-net?"

WinterWolf:
" Nope, I joined lulu but I couldn't figure out how to transfer the book from microsoft word, So I didn't. -_- I think I might rewrite it though"

Big B:
" Oh, I feel bad! Well lets get back to Jango's story! Awesome!"

(This is from my forum, so my name there is "Jango-Jordan")

Super Mercenary:
"Very good Jango! I like it, but I like my story better. Why? It's because it's kind of hard to follow your story. Still, it is a very good story."

*After three huge posts

Super Mercenary:
" This is getting good. I might have a rival in the story thing."

Me:
" That's what I knew when you started WAR!"

Big B:
"lol, I vote that JJ's story wins! Even though it's kinda hard to follow... Is this all a dream? Because he went to bed in the present and woke up in this which is kind of confusing."

Super Mercenary:
"My thoughts exactly, except for the first part."

Big B:
" lol, never said that yours was bad!"

Me, with a spoiler:
" Okay, so in the first post, when he walked through the doorway:
WARNING: SPOILER:

He walks through the doorway and into the future. An unknown being calling itself "i i" transported him from 2021 to 2027."

Yes, I know that I keep renaming the being, but I've finally decided on "i i".

Huge revisions of Invasiion.

I've made a ton of modifications to Invasiion, such as Grammar updates, made most of the posts a paragraph or three longer, and gave more information about life before and Kyle's sister; Meagan. I'll upload them tomorrow, or maybe on monday.

Invasion / Invasiion, Twilight / Twiliight

For major spoilers that I don't feel comfortable revealing, I've renamed Invasion to Invasiion.  Two "I"s.

And so,
has also been changed.

Cheers!

SDLA Dance class.

OUICH!

(Typo intended)

Dance at SDLA is getting weird.  We have to walk forward, while brushing our knees and ankles together, while jutting our chest out and having our knees bent.

Sounds mighty strange, eh?

Oh, and we have to practice in public, in front of everyone.  I've never been big on stage fright, in fact I don't think that I've ever had it, so it's not the fact that I have to do it in public that's annoying me, its just that I have to do it All Day, Every Day for a few WEEKS!
AARRGHHHHH!

Cool Quotes

I found these at www.quotationspage.com

It is by the goodness of God that in our country we have those three unspeakably precious things: freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and the prudence never to practice either of them.
Mark Twain (1835 - 1910), Following the Equator (1897)

An ounce of action is worth a ton of theory.
Friedrich Engels (1820 - 1895)

Valour needs first strength, then a weapon.
J. R. R. Tolkien (1892 - 1973), Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

We don't receive wisdom; we must discover it for ourselves after a journey that no one can take for us or spare us.
Marcel Proust (1871 - 1922)

I like quotes!

(Commenting is always welcome!)

What is truly unconquerable?

IS anything?  What is "Conquerable"?

*Flip*

What is a Miracle?  How would you define "Miracle"?

Wiki WIP.

I'm creating a Wiki for Invasion, and so it will also contain information about Twilight.

It can be found at the following address:

It's a WIP, but I'll add a ton of stuff as time goes by.

SDLA and BRSINGR

SDLA was awesome! but after wards, we went looking for Spore and couldn't find it.

>=(

Brsingr* is coming out tomorrow night!!
(Bir-Zing-Er, I think...)
I can't wait!  Eldest was a little boring at times, but I actually kind of liked how long it was.
Sorry for another short post!

Dragon's and Schoolwork.

Dragon's are awesome, they're majestic, usually powerfull, and can breathe fire! It'd be awesome to be a dragon, but unfortunatley, I'm Human.
Oh well....

School is hard, nad I'm talking about Public School. In the breif moments that I've been there, it was hard to endure all of the swearing, and some of the outfits that the girls were wearing were hideous! Most, if not all, wore tight pants. And a few looked like their shirts were going to fall off!
EW!
Self-Respect? Decency? Anyone!?
*Shakes head*
Anyway, onto different topics.
Today was Constitution day, so me and my brother went and recited the Declaration of Independance at a school called Legacy. It was fun, but I could only remember this much.

When in the course of human events, it becomes necissary for one people to dissolve the political bands which connect them to another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the seperate and equel stations to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, A decent respect for the opinions of mankind require that they should declare the causes which impel them to the seperation. [1]
. . .

Prudence indeed, dictates that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes.[2]

[1] You should say what you're doing before you do it, unless you're going for a surprise.

[2] Prudence dictates the governments that have been around for a while shouldn't be changed for something small and dumb, like say, aomeone ran over your toe and you wanted to get revenge on them, it'd be a "Light and transient" cause for you to write up a bill, telling the amry to single out that guy and kill him. It goes along with the saying and counter-saying: "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." "Why, if we followed that, we'd all be blind and toothless!"

Anyway, I have to read 4/5ths pf the book "The seven habits of highly effective teens" by tommorrow at 7:30 in the morning, so I'd better get to it!

(Comments are welcome. Mariposa, don't copyright that!)

Questions regarding things of some interest...

QUESTIONS:

Prudence, indeed, dictates that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes.

QUESTION “Well, what is a light and transient cause?”

Freedom of speech, how many people actually use it?

What is a tyrant?

What is the definition of Evil?

*And which came first, the chicken, or the egg?

*No clue. =P

(Comments are welcome.)

Book Review #1/ A RolePlay.

Occasionaly I will do Book reviews, in this case, yes I'm a guy, yes I know this is a book intended for girls, no, I'm not Emo or Goth or whatever, but the first one is : Princess Academy.
Why in the world did I read it? I was desparate for something to read, saw this, picked it up and started reading. It was actually pretty good! It was kind of refreshing to get away from the violence that I've been reading for the last few years. I'd give it 4.5 out of 5. It was cool, but in some places it seemed like there wasn't quite enough detail, and I wished that it'd been longer.

I've always liked chatting online with other people around the globe, so I established a forum on InvisionFree called Brick_Cave. It was fun, but due to a number of things, I couldn't be on, and there wasn't enough members for the forum to grow very much, so I re-made it on ZetaBoards and re-named it Brick Cave2. You can find the address below.

Twilight
I have no IDEA what the storyline is, except what I've written so far. I just started typing in Microsoft Word and that's how I got the entire first post! After that, I've added on, but I don't really know what the storyline is BESIDES this:

CAUTION: THIS NEXT PART CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS:

**********************************************************

Jake is Kyle's long lost twin brother, Kara is a clone of Alyx, Gabe is actually a king, and the "King" that outlawed Technology; is actually a genetically altered Boron in disguise. Twilight is actually a being that, every three days, forms a bond with certain objects at random locations. The first day, when Jake, Gabe and Kara were still in the Mayor's house, the being called Twilight formed a bond with them. Every three days after that, they get transported into the Invasion timeline. At the beginning of Invasion, Kyle sees a strange light in the next door neighbors house. That is Kara, Jake and Gabe transporting into Todd Johnson's house. A few lines later, when Kyle is in the future, he sees the same light. This is when a new character called Ven is killed and Jake, Kara and Gabe are transported back. Far later, Kara and Alyx switch timelines, much to Jake's and Kyle's confusion. Kara and Alyx both have Red hair and Green eyes, something that I was obsessed with when I was younger. (Invasion was originally called "Electron" and was about a bunch of teenagers that are attacked by a misterious figure. The main stars name in that was Even Eleck. I wanted to associate him with Electricity as much as possible. The story itself often contridicted itself, and there was an unfortunate lack of Grammar.) Alyx helps them get to the King and kill him. Kara accidentaly detonates a nuclear bomb, set for a half an hour. The case around the bomb is virtually indestructable, so Kyle grabs her, runs to a hovercraft and goes straight into the atmosphere. The book switches to Alyx, and the last line should be something about "Evil is never truly beaten, it just fades, away, patientely waiting for the next time to gather and strike."

Support our troops!

I got this in an E-Mail, but I'm going to post it anyway.

This is absolutely worth reading! You stay up for 16 hours He stays up for days on end. You take a warm shower to help you wake up. He goes days or weeks without running water. You complain of a 'headache', and call in sick. He gets shot at as others are hit, and keeps moving forward. You put on your anti war/don't support the troops shirt, and go meet up with your friends. He still fights for your right to wear that shirt. You make sure you're cell phone is in your pocket. He clutches the cross hanging on his chain next to his dog tags. You talk trash about your 'buddies' that aren't with you. He knows he may not see some of his buddies again. You walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls. He patrols the streets, searching for insurgents and terrorists. You complain about how hot it is. He wears his heavy gear, not daring to take off his helmet to wipe his brow. You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got your order wrong. He doesn't get to eat today. Your maid makes your bed and washes your clothes. He wears the same things for weeks, but makes sure his weapons are clean. You go to the mall and get your hair redone. He doesn't have time to brush his teeth today. You're angry because your class ran 5 minutes over. He's told he will be held over an extra 2 months. You call your girlfriend and set a date for tonight. He waits for the mail to see if there is a letter from home. You hug and kiss your girlfriend, like you do everyday. He holds his letter close and smells his love's perfume. You roll your eyes as a baby cries. He gets a letter with pictures of his new child, and wonders if they'll ever meet. You criticize your government, and say that war never solves anything. He sees the innocent tortured and killed by their own people and remembers why he is fighting. You hear the jokes about the war, and make fun of men like him. He hears the gunfire, bombs and screams of the wounded. You see only what the media wants you to see. He sees the broken bodies lying around him. You are asked to go to the store by your parents. You don't. He does exactly what he is told even if it puts his life in danger. You stay at home and watch TV. He takes whatever time he is given to call, write home, sleep, and eat. You crawl into your soft bed, with down pillows, and get comfortable. He tries to sleep but gets woken by mortars and helicopters all night long. If you support your troops, send this to 7 people. If you don't support your troops well, then don't send this out. You won't die in 7 days, your love life won't be affected, and you won't have the worst day ever. You don't have to email this. It's not like you know the men and women that are dying to preserve your rights. REMEMBER our Troops, and do not forget them LATER Lest we forget -

Gasp! Deep thoughts!?

"To be, or not to be, that is the question.  Wether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take up arms against a sea of trouble, and by opposing end them!? To die, for in this sleep of death, what dreams may come, when we have shuffled off this mortal coil, must give us pause."

Ah! I did that from memory!  I probably skipped quite a bit, but considering that I memorised that last year, That's pretty good.  It amazes me, the powers of the *Cerebrial Cortex.  Being able to recall something from 14 months away, or remembering memories from when you were two.

To live, to endure day by day life's challenges seems an impossible task, but then, there you are, living, fighting through it.  Or not to be, to shrink into a cowardly hole, waiting for death.  Is it truly better to live; and to fufill God's plan for us?  Or to give up, and die.  I say that it is far more courageous to live, rather than to die.

Here's a small peom I wrote, just because I was bored.

Fury
Fury is the blight, to witch all men fight, for the day is dawning when all men must fight, to keep their wives and children happy, to keep them in the right.

Fury, like pain, must be conquered.
Fury, like rain, can be devestating.
Fury, like a chain, can be binding.
Fury, like pain, can bore deep into the heart.

Not that long, but still....

Ice Skating

I went to the Rec Center last night and went Ice skating with my friends, it was fun, but I fell down twice and skinned my left knee and right elbow.

"Why do we fal down, master bruce?
So that we can learn to pick ourselves up again."

* I probably spelled that wrong...

Ice Skating

Ouch!  I fell on my elbow and bruised it.  It's fun, and all of my friends were there, but it was COLD!

Sorry for another short post.

Invasion. . .

I'm thinking of making it into a full-fledged book. I already have at least a paragraph of nine chapters.

A creepy dream.

Okay, I had a creepy dream that involved a kidnapping that was more like a scavenger hunt.  It also involved going to college, though I can't remember how.

Internet Browsers.

FireFox

Internet Explorer (IE7)
NEW! Chrome
Safari
Opera
Which one do you use?
I'll post my ratings of each one.

FireFox (3.0)
Fun, easy-to-use web browser with a lot of custimization.  It has a ton of extra features that you can download whenever you want, or you can leave it with no add ons.

IE7
A lot like firefox, but with a slightly different tab system.  Every time that you open a tab, It says 'You have opened a new tab!" As if I didn't already know!

Chrome BETA
So far, it's been a pretty good browser! It treats each new tab like a new window, doesn't have a huge toolbar on the top, and has both the Web address and the Search engine where the web address would go!  Unfortunately, because it is still in the Beta, it doesn't have a bookmark organizer, and no Screen loader thingy.

Safari
I've only used it twice, and I didn't like it.  The screen loader bar thingy was in the address bar, I didn't like that for some reason.  Also, the color scheme is weird.  At least, it was when I tried it.

Opera
Only used it on the Wii.  It doesn't seem to like Blogspot very much.

Followers and BTS.

I'm exited for the new Gadget coming out called Followers, and speaking of followers, who actually reads this blog? Next time you read, leave a comment!
BTS
Back To School this thursday, you might think that HomeSchoolers go learn at home, right? We do, but some of us organize schools. I go to SDLA, South Davis Liber Academy, Organized on LEMI, that was created by Analadee Milne.

SPORE

I WANT IT!!!
My brother get's paid a lot for some reason, so he's (Hopefully) going to buy it for my sister and I.
(He'll get to use it too. =) )

Windows Media Player 11

I upgraded, and WOW, it's sleek and shiny. Microsoft may not make the best software, but they know how to make a great skin!

I'm sorry that my blog posts are so short, but not a ton happens in my life that I won't have to do a huge four-page explanation for.
