Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
This sickens me. That there is no God or Satan would be to say that there is no good or evil. If there was no Good or Evil, then we would be like Adam and Eve, sinless, joyless, emotionless. Adam and Eve had to take the fruit of the tree for them to be cast out. If they didn't, they couldn't have had any children, and then WE wouldn't be here.
Cosmic Humanism is a worldview. One that I most definitely disagree with.

"There is no war"
John Stuart Mill:
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made or kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
Pretty sad poem.
However, I don't think Adam and Eve were emotionless, because Adam loved Eve. Eve was not barren, she simply did not have such a fast rate of conception in the garden. Since the timeline in the Bible is pretty sketchy, Cain could have been born in the garden. It doesn't make it clear.
But, that really doesn't matter. XD
A poem that, unfortunately, some people really do seem to believe.
I don't know, I was kind of out of it, lol. I'm a little loopy today. XD
I agree with your analysis, Kyle, but I also agree with Liberty.
